Consultant Paediatrician
Dr Shabir is a highly experienced paediatrician with expertise in Developmental Paediatrics, General Paediatrics, and Paediatric Gastroenterology.
He completed the majority of his paediatric training in Perth and further enhanced his skills with advanced fellowships, including a Paediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at the prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, and a Paediatric Gastroenterology and Liver Transplant fellowship at Queensland Children’s Hospital.
Since returning to Perth, Dr Shabir has worked extensively in Child Development Centres, where he has focused on managing complex neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioural challenges.
With a strong clinical focus on holistic child health, Dr. Shabir offers expert assessment and management across a wide range of presentations. His practice encompasses general paediatrics, complex developmental and behavioural assessments, and a specialized clinical interest in paediatric gastroenterology. This broad expertise allows him to support every aspect of a child’s growth, development, and wellbeing.
